# Leon Szczaurski > Leon Szczaurski builds and operates AI systems: a self-hosted second brain over plain Markdown, agent teams that run scheduled shifts, voice agents that take real calls, and the tools his own agency runs on. Eight years of marketing came first, from 200 cold calls a day to helping originate a $24M distribution agreement. He is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is the founder of Happy Client LLC. One person, end to end: he designs it, builds it, hosts it on hardware he owns, and answers for it. szczleon.com is his personal, employer-facing portfolio. It is a walkthrough of a running operation rather than a service menu. The law the whole page is built on: if it is on this page, it exists and it works. Twenty-one systems sit behind that claim, nineteen of them running live and two at demo stage, plus this site itself. He is Hungarian, works with South Florida clients in person and remotely, and hosts everything on hardware he owns, published through an outbound-only Cloudflare Tunnel. Primary contact: me@szczleon.com. ## The systems he built and runs - **2b, the second brain** ([showcase](https://szczleon.com/2b/)): a self-hosted personal platform over an Obsidian Markdown vault, with 18 widgets covering bank balances, call recording, NAS health, API spend, and a voice line. The architecture law is file over software: the vault Markdown is the truth and the apps are disposable lenses over it. Runs on a Mac and independently on the NAS, so the laptop can be shut and it keeps working. - **NAS Home Brain**: a UGREEN NAS turned into always-on infrastructure. A CouchDB LiveSync database of 18,534 documents keeps the vault in real-time sync across Mac, iPhone, and NAS; a sidecar commits it to a git bus every 120 seconds; a Telegram bot and scheduled routines run on top. Reachable only over Tailscale except for what the tunnel publishes on purpose. - **Agent cabinet and Windmill agent team**: nine named agents run tool-enabled daily shifts driven by a plain vault note, plus a Windmill-orchestrated build team of nine specialist roles where a checker gates completion on evidence, verifying every acceptance item against actual files. Measured scale: 4.17 billion tokens over two months, run for about $412 actual. A deployer role is deliberately absent, because going live is always a human step. - **Voice agents**: Joy, a Retell-powered AI front desk that places and takes real calls over a Twilio SIP trunk (a 13-minute call costs about $2.70), and a personal task line that turns a spoken request into a queued job a Mac runner executes, with a receipt back on Telegram. Destructive, outbound, and money-moving requests are refused on the call by design. - **Task Lane**: text a task to a Telegram bot and a Mac runner picks it up off a vault queue note, executes it headless with full tools, and sends back a receipt. It is the execution backbone the voice line and the deal scanner both reuse. - **Deal Scout**: a daily agent that sweeps Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and OfferUp for underpriced local listings, comps them against market medians, and sends the spread. Approving a deal produces a message draft only. A human always sends. - **semsearch**: semantic search over 1,352 files and 23,783 chunks of past conversations and daily notes, running fully locally on ollama for $0. About two seconds per query, and every query re-embeds changed files first so the index cannot silently go stale. - **HC Call Machine**: a sales power dialer built into the dashboard, with timed dial sessions, a prospect-note CRM, scanner-generated call briefs, and call recording transcribed speaker-labeled through a local whisper.cpp pipeline. It dials with zero API keys. - **Pitch Portal**: a reusable slide-deck engine for client pitches, with animated service explainers and interactive pricing that ends in a checkout handoff. Two client decks deployed. - **Onboarding portal**: client onboarding as a product. Services go into a cart, one link mints a combined agreement with summed price, per-line deposits, unioned documents, and an access checklist, then e-sign and pay. A composite mint verified at $10,747 total across nine scope lines. - **hc-scanner**: a dual website scanner that scores how visible a business is to AI search (AX) and how exposed it is security-wise. Pure standard library, no dependencies. He dogfooded it on his own agency site until it passed 100 out of 100, and that pass is now the QA gate on every site he builds. - **ax-monitor** (demo): a measurement rig that asks four AI channels the same ten buyer questions weekly, eight repetitions each, and reports whether a client actually gets recommended. Grounded and parametric answers are never averaged together. - **Design HQ**: a private design platform indexing every site he has built or studied, with full-page captures, per-section crops, detected tech stacks, design tokens, motion rules, an accessibility rule set, a QA matrix, and a machine-readable index so agents can consume it. - **video-cut (vcut)**: hand it raw talking-head footage and it returns a cut Final Cut Pro project. Local word-level transcription, silence and filler removal, editorial line selection, timed captions. The reliability design is the interesting part: timing is arithmetic and selection is editorial, so the model picks range indices and never returns a timecode. - **Build recorder**: a hook that screen-records his own build sessions on an allowlist, offloads the video to the NAS, and writes a timecoded shot list, so any session can become portfolio footage. Vault, client, and credential work is hard-blocked from recording. - **image-gen service**: a budget-capped image and video generation service with a $25/month hard cap and live per-model pricing pulled from the provider, so every generation shows its real cost before it runs. Never used for logos; those are hand-drawn SVG. - **Wardrobe**: an ecommerce-style app over his own closet. Photograph a garment, AI drafts its attributes in about 25 seconds, build an outfit in a cart, and checkout renders an AI image of you wearing it for eight cents. Every garment becomes a vault note. - **Bonsai**: a native SwiftUI iOS focus game where focused time grows a bonsai that can genuinely die. Growth is energy-driven and the foliage is placed by a real light model, not canned animation. 62 green engine tests. - **Accountability PACT bot**: a commitment-contract bot and Telegram Mini App where pairs make a pact and check in. The crypto escrow module is built but deliberately switched off until it has been dogfooded on a testnet. - **Distributor CRM** (demo): a self-hosted CRM for a wholesale distributor built on the same design system, where the client owns the data outright instead of renting a seat. - **Prank Line**: a comedy AI caller. Premises live as Markdown notes, one agent loads them as variables, and every call ends with a forced reveal that it was a joke. It never dials without a named target. - **szczleon.com and t.js**: this site, hand-built static HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript with no framework and no build step, self-hosted and published through a tunnel. t.js is his own first-party cookieless analytics beacon, which respects Do Not Track and is why the site has no cookie banner. ## Camera work He shoots and edits end to end. The reference project is MindBlend, a mushroom-coffee brand: about 30 short-form vertical videos and 60-plus product and lifestyle stills, concept to delivery, in two shoot days, one person. He works on a Sony A7 IV with a macro and production lens kit, a gimbal, professional lighting, and his own product backdrop, and cuts in Final Cut Pro. His own build-recording pipeline now feeds footage into the same edit process, so the site's B-roll comes from the tools on this list. ## Marketing background (2017 to 2025) Eight years before the systems, and the reason the systems are shaped the way they are: he spent those years as the customer. - Freelance social media management from 2017, growing accounts in publishing, wellness, and speaking. - Squid Distribution: the B2B foundation. 200-plus outreach calls a day, client retention improved 88%. - Fume: helped originate and manage a $24M annual distribution agreement and contributed to the brand's European market entry. - Earth Kratom: ran a $15K monthly budget and six to seven trade shows a year with promo teams he hired and led. Launched a new brand into 150-plus retail stores across four states in 10 weeks; it became the number-one picked-up brand in Georgia and Florida. - Kats Kratom: built the smoke-shop wholesale channel across South Florida and the full B2B outreach system behind it. - Adler Social: consulted small businesses in hospitality, wellness, and retail, improving client visibility across search, social, and the web by an average of about 77%. ## Offering: AI Visibility (AX) AI search is the new front door. Leon audits and rebuilds how a business reads to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI so it gets found and cited when customers ask. That means structured data (schema.org and JSON-LD), llms.txt, sitemaps, semantic markup, and machine-legible entity information. He wrote hc-scanner to score it, and he rebuilt his own agency site until it passed 100 out of 100. Delivered through Happy Client LLC ([happyclient.agency](https://happyclient.agency)). ## Company - Happy Client LLC, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
