Privacy Policy

Effective: 24 July 2026 · Last updated: 24 July 2026

This is a personal portfolio site. I keep data collection to the minimum needed to answer you and keep the site running. I don't sell your data, I don't run ad tracking, and I don't add you to a mailing list.

Who is responsible for your data

This site (szczleon.com) is operated by Leon Szczaurski, doing business as Happy Client LLC, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].

What I collect

Information you give me

Information collected automatically

The site is delivered through a content-delivery and security provider (Cloudflare). As with any website, standard technical data is processed to serve and protect the site: your IP address, browser/user-agent, referring page, the pages you view, and timestamps, plus aggregate performance and traffic metrics. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and understanding overall traffic — not to build a profile of you.

Cookies

The site itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly-necessary cookies for security and bot-management (for example to tell humans from automated traffic). There are no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Why I use it

I do not sell or rent your data, do not add you to a marketing list, and do not send automated follow-up sequences. One CV request means one reply.

Who it's shared with

Only with service providers acting on my behalf, under their own privacy terms:

I may disclose information if required by law. I do not otherwise share your data.

How long I keep it

CV-request and contact emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, then deleted. You can ask me to delete your data at any time and I will.

Where your data is processed

I operate from the United States. If you contact me from the EU, the UK, or elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the US.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) you have the right to know and delete your data and to opt out of its sale — and I do not sell data. To exercise any right, email [email protected] and I'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 16, and I do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

The site runs on hardware I own, published through an outbound-only tunnel with no exposed inbound ports, and served over encrypted HTTPS. See the Security & responsible disclosure page for details and how to report an issue.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy; the "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
